MassArt's Office of Student Financial Assistance works hard to provide an array of outside scholarship opportunities for our students to apply for to help fund their education.
Available outside scholarship opportunities are posted on the Career Development website. In addition, on the first Sunday of every month, a list of upcoming arts-based scholarships is posted on the MassArt Facebook page.
In addition to reviewing the available outside scholarship opportunities posted to Career Development and Facebook, students are strongly encouraged to conduct their own scholarship searches to find scholarships related to their specific interests and needs. The following is a list of scholarship search engines and resources:
Please note, it is the student's responsibility to notify the Office of Student Financial Assistance of all outside awards received from other sources in writing. Types of assistance that must be reported include private scholarships, tuition waivers, veteran's benefits, Massachusetts Rehabilitation assistance, etc.
In some cases financial aid may have to be adjusted because of outside scholarships or assistance. If this is the case, MassArt will do everything possible within the realm of federal regulations to protect a student's grant awards, however, outside awards may reduce the student's eligibility to borrow federal funds or receive work-study. Please note that it is the student's responsibility to make certain that MassArt receives these outside scholarship funds.
