Dear Student,
Congratulations!!! You are receiving this email because you have been ACCEPTED to participate in the MassArt XXX travel course to be taught by Professors AAA and BBB for the Spring 2019 semester. The fee for the travel portion of this course is $4,200. Classes will take place throughout the spring semester, and tentative travel dates are May 26 - June 8, 2019.
Scholarship
We are also pleased to AWARD YOU a scholarship to participate in the MassArt XXX travel course for the Spring 2019 semester. Congratulations!!! The scholarship will cover $2,200 and you will be responsible for covering the remainder of the fee, or $2,000.
Deposit and Course Fee
In order to secure your place in the course, you must provide the College with a nonrefundable deposit of $750.00 NO LATER THAN NOV. 15, 2018 . Please see the attached checklist for more information. The course fee listed above will appear on your Spring 2019 tuition bill, and will be due in early December (less the $750 deposit). Check with Student Financial Assistance to see if your financial aid package can help cover the cost of your travel course.
Studio Abroad Forms
As a participant in a MassArt travel course, you are required to complete several forms in Studio Abroad. Please see the attached checklist for more information. THESE FORMS ARE ALSO DUE BY NOV. 15, 2018!
Registration and Tuition
Please note, you do not need to register for this course in DaVinci . Our office will update the Registrar to add this course to your schedule. Tuition for the course is included in full-time, undergraduate tuition. Graduate students, part-time students and other will pay tuition by credit.
Travel Course Orientation
The IEC is hosting two orientation sessions to advise you on next steps , help you complete the online forms , give information about passports and visas , answer questions and more! You will receive a separate email with sign up information for these sessions.

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer you a MassArt travel course scholarship at this time. All scholarships are awarded based on financial need, which is determined through your FAFSA form. We encourage you to explore other areas of scholarship, such as your town’s local rotary clubs or area businesses, or consider personal fundraising options!

Due to a high number of well-qualified applicants, we are unable to accept you at this time. However, as a waitlisted student, you may still be contacted over the next few weeks if a space in the class becomes available.
The UK waitlist is split by major in order to keep the ratio of Graphic Design / Illustration students. Your number on the waitlist will indicate which list you are assigned to.
