Faculty members, students, and administrators participate in the decision-making process at the college. Written charges to establish new or revised policies, curriculum, and academic reorganization must be addressed to the chairperson of the All University Committee and submitted through Alice Stanne in the Office of Academic Affairs.

Wednesdays from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. is an open period when no classes are scheduled. Designated Wednesdays have been reserved for governance, many governance committees meet during this time slot. For 2016-17, these Wednesdays are as follows:
