 MassArt Professional Institute Program

We developed programs that will assist faculty and staff in building awareness, initiating performance conversations, and supporting personal and professional development.  We encourage you to take advantage of these opportunities.

Participants will receive a certificate of proficiency if they complete 4 foundation workshops and 2 elective workshops.  A copy of the certificate will be included in the participant's employment file.  The certificate can be used as an addendum to a performance evaluation, further support MassArt maintaining an inclusive workplace, enhancing managerial skills, and/or developing a better understanding of other cultures.

For those participants who are interested in including their certificate in their employment file, you should complete a Learning Agreement which can be found below, discuss it with your supervisor/chair, and submit it to Human Resources.

You can sign up for the workshops by clicking on the following link: MPI Workshop Sign Up

Information about descriptions, objectives, times, dates, locations, facilitators, and audience can be found in the MPI booklet which is below.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us on ext. 7920.
  • Please note that many workshops have limited space. If you RSVP for an event and are unable to make it, please contact Human Resources as soon as possible.
